Monet Color Combination, named for French painter Claude Monet, whose painting Impression, Sunrise, gave the Impressionist movement its name.  His renowned Water Lilies, gave direct inspiration for this color combination.  This combination is a mix of purple and teal that mix in the middle to create a lovely sage green.

The Painterly Series is a collection of color combinations that are named for historically significant artists.  Impressionist painters, whose thick and expressive painting style Kathleen has tried to mimic in the mixing of colored glass chips called frit, inspire many combinations.
